Jill Frahm is the History Instructor in 91快播's General Education Department. She is also the Roraract co-adviser and Co-Chair of the General Education Department.
Jill holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Minnesota, and an M.A. and B.A. in History from the University of Maryland. Before coming to 91快播, she was employed as both a public and academic historian for several organizations including the U.S. government.
She is fascinated by all sorts of history, but her research interests focus on unconventional woman and men in the years between the Civil War and World War I. Jill has presented papers at many historical conferences including the Cryptologic History Symposium, Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, Social Sciences History Association Annual Conference, and the Organization of American Historians Annual Conference. Jill believes that meeting 91快播’s amazing students is the best part of her job! Whether the topic is Minnesota History, World History, U.S. History, or Environmental History, she believes that history belongs to everyone and works to make her classes accessible and inclusive for all.
When not teaching, Jill enjoys spending time with family, reading (history, of course!), embroidering, and hanging out with her cat Emma, the fur tyrant who rules her home.
