Beth specializes in working with people who have autism, ADHD, and AuDHD. Along with those neurotypes, Beth knows there is a lot of difficulty with executive function (remembering to do things, getting started on tasks, getting tasks done, etc.) and anxiety and depression too. She also has a lot of experience working with neurodivergent LGBTQUIA+ clients. She has worked in mental health for over 10 years and has a lifetime of experience with neurodivergence and trauma experiences.
Her style is casual and welcoming with frequent use of humor. Beth wants the students she works with to come out of therapy feeling better understood, more empowered, more authentic, and having tools to manage what life throws at them.
Fast track rapport building topics: all animals but especially cats, Irish dance and culture, Scotland, the movie Inside Out, Indie music from the 90s (but a love of music is appreciated regardless of genre), and all things creative.
