Two hours per week of homework support for students enrolled in the day section of College Algebra. A professional tutor, licensed in K12 math, joins the instructor to team teach two days per week.

Apply Gaussian elimination and other techniques to solve linear systems of equations, including applications.
Solve high-order polynomial equations by factoring, including complex number solutions.
Explain the concept of function, executing instructions written using function notation.
Apply knowledge of transformations to convert among equation and graph forms of various functions.
Analyze graphs of polynomial and rational functions, including intercepts, symmetry, end behavior, multiplicity and arymptotes.
Apply log-laws to solve exponential and logarithmic equations
Analyze arithmetic vs geometric / linear vs exponential growth and decay
