This course emphasizes the review and analysis of selected works of literature. Students will become familiar with the conventions, terminology and expectations of a particular genre of literature. In addition, students will research the authors and the historical times in which they lived. There will be an emphasis on reading literature actively, analyzing literature logically and writing about literature critically.
