Students will prepare their portfolios for interviewing and showing potential employers. Students will also learn how to set-up interviews, develop interviewing skills and create their resumes and cover letters for job searches. Prerequisites: None.

Explain job interview processes and the importance of job recommendations for potential employment opportunities.
Create resumes, general cover letters, and a portfolio for job searches.
Explain the importance of first impressions and what companies look for during telephone, online, or in-person interviews.
Discuss networking and job search techniques, and other ways to obtain leads for employment.
Explain the importance of researching a company prior to creating any communications for potential employers or prior to obtaining a job interview with an organization.
Conduct an informational interview with a person holding a position in which you have employment interest.
